Purifying solar water still

The Sunstill is a passive distiller that relies solely on the sun's energy to create good tasting, distilled water from otherwise undrinkable water.

The Sunstill works on the principle of evaporation and condensation. The water added to the still evaporates, only to cool and condense against the glass cover. When the water evaporates, it removes only pure water and leaves all contaminants behind. The evaporated water then runs down the glass cover and into a container, ready for consumption.

Solar Stills are effective in removing:

Salts/Minerals (e.g., Na, Ca, As, Fl, Fe, Mn, Cl)

Bacteria (e.g., E. Coli, Cholera, Botulinus)
Parasites (e.g., Giardia, Cryptosporidium)

Features:

• Sturdy moulded exterior frame
• Produces aprox 1-4 litres per day depending on season and position
• No flat taste as that of boiled condensed water
• No running costs
